One of the major issues we experience helping out customers after they have suffered a computer/laptop crash is that the Windows Operating System has to be re-installed. One of our main problems is that when we attempt to set up the customer’s email in many cases they say either they do not have a password or that they have forgotten it.
Whilst setting up their email, it is normal for Google to offer to remember the password for them. One
consequence of this is that they now do not remember their password for accessing their emails.
We strongly recommend that when Google asks if you want Google to remember your password, you should say no, and save a copy of your password somewhere safe just in case you need it later. We find that recovering your password (following an event like the one above) may well result in you having to pay for the time taken by us to sort the issue out.
To avoid this issue please make a note of your email password and keep it somewhere safe.
